The Membership Lifecycle

Membaz supports every stage of membership, from the day someone joins to the day they leave, and the day they come back.

The Membaz membership lifecycle: member take-on, demographic information, financial transactions, reporting and card issue, and member exit, with tasks and notes at the centre. A returning member rejoins at take-on.

Stage 1

Member take-on

Capture a new member, or approve their online application. Raise joining and membership fees, issue a card, and move them from prospective to full member.

Stage 2

Member information

Keep details current with your own fields, documents and photos. Every change is recorded in the activity log, and members can confirm their own details by email.

Stage 3

Financial transactions

Recurring and once-off fees, invoices, receipts, credit and debit notes, statements, online payments and a clean monthly handover to your accounts.

Stage 4

Reporting and card issue

Membership cards, with or without photos, printed or digital. Standard, ad hoc and custom reports.

Stage 5

Member exit

Move a member to a resigned or lapsed category and Membaz clears them out at year end once their balance is zero. Or inactivate them straight away.

At every stage

Tasks and notes

Assign tasks to each other with due dates, and keep notes and emails on the member record so everyone sees the same history.

When a member comes back

Reactivate them and their history is still there: their details, notes, documents and past transactions. Members inactivated in an earlier year come back with a clean balance; members inactivated this year come back with their balances intact, so your books always add up.
